I really liked the house, it was small but cosy, well maintained. The walls were recently painted. The rent was £275 per month at the time. My room had beautiful wooden flooring and nice furniture.
However, there were mice in the kitchen area and they appreaerd upstairs sometimes. The landlord was not able to fix this as there were gaps in the walls and he said the mice had a trail they would run through between houses. He did set up traps and did his best to assist us.
The landlord and his wife were always very helpful. I had direct contact with them and they were easy to reach whenever we needed repairs. We got the full deposit back. We didn't really party or break anything, but there were a few scratches and tears which they kindly overlooked.
